Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical care. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patient ratios of approximately 1:6 and a strong ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working every other weekend and offers opportunities for floating.

• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1772.82 (negotiable)
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Floating required
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Charting System: Epic
• Locals accepted
• Certification requirements: BLS, ACLS
• Preference for NIHSS certification
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Perform tracheostomy care and management
• Administer and monitor telemetry services

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year of RN experience in Medical Surgical unit
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry and tracheostomy care skills

Preferred:

• NIHSS certification
