Asset Management Analyst

Real Estate AnalystWe are seeking a highly analytical and motivated analyst to help oversee the financial and operational performance of a growing real estate portfolio, primarily focused on senior living communities.This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience in real estate, financial analysis, business operations, and investment strategy.You will work directly with leadership and the Asset Manager to help improve property performance, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decision-making across multiple assets.This position is in-office, located in Hattiesburg, MS.What You’ll DoAnalyze financial performance of properties including revenue, expenses, Net Operating Income (NOI), occupancy trends, and budget variancesTrack key operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the portfolioIdentify under-performing assets and help develop action plans for improvementAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planningSupport acquisition, underwriting, and due diligence for potential new investmentsResearch market trends, competitors, and pricing opportunitiesPrepare reports and presentations for ownership and executive leadershipAssist with special projects related to growth, strategy, and operational improvementsHelp identify opportunities to improve processes using technology and automation toolsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business, or related field preferred1–3 years experience in financial analysis, operations, real estate, consulting, or similar roleStrong Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, formulas)Highly analytical with strong attention to detailComfortable working with large datasets and identifying trendsInterested in real estate investing, business operations, and strategyCurious mindset with willingness to learn and grow into leadershipBonus SkillsExperience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or data visualizationExperience using AI tools to improve workflows and reportingReal estate or healthcare industry experience is a plus
