SUMMARY : Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality age appropriate nursing care to patients that is consistent with organizational philosophy, goals and policies and procedures.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education : Graduate from accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Maternity required


License : Current New York State Registered Nurse License. BLS Required, Fetal Monitoring Certification within 6 months, and NRP upon completion of orientation

Working Conditions:

Manual: Little or no manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk

Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force

Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions
