Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technician to join our busy practice. This is a full-time opportunity. Responsibilities Gather and document patients' medical and eye history using the EHR system. Prepare examination and treatment rooms for patient visits. Perform pre-exam screenings and diagnostic tests (training provided), including: Visual acuity and color vision testing Auto-lensometry and autorefraction Tonometry, Amsler grid, and pupil evaluation Additional testing as required Assist physicians during minor procedures as needed. Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic and surgical instruments (training provided). Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures . Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a patient-first mindset. Ability to work proactively, communicate effectively, and collaborate with team members. Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Receptive to learning new skills and adapting to change. Prior medical or ophthalmic experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate . Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical or ophthalmic experience preferred but not required.
