We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a pharmaceutical organization in Dallas, Texas. This position focuses on cash and treasury accounting activities, supporting accurate financial reporting and dependable daily cash operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong month-end close expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage reconciliations, journal activity, and payment-related processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee treasury and cash accounting functions to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to cash activity, payments, and other assigned general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end close by reviewing balances, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Perform cash account and bank reconciliations, investigating variances and completing corrections as needed.
• Manage wire transfer activity and help ensure payments are processed securely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Develop and maintain cash forecasts to support short-term liquidity planning and operational decision-making.
• Partner with accounts payable and internal finance teams to monitor outgoing payments and improve cash visibility.
• Assist with process updates related to payment workflows or accounting operations when required.• Proven experience in treasury, cash accounting, or a closely related corporate accounting function.
• Strong background in month-end close activities, including journal entries and general ledger support.
• Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, including bank and cash account balancing.
• Knowledge of wire transfer processing and payment controls.
• Ability to analyze cash activity, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time management skills.
• Experience working in a regulated or fast-paced industry environment, such as pharmaceutical, is preferred.
