Infrastructure Engineer III

Job Description

A telecom company is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer III to join its Enterprise Infrastructure team supporting multiple datacenters and production environments. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure platforms including Windows Server, virtualization technologies, storage, compute, backup, disaster recovery, and datacenter operations.

The Engineer III will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for maintaining highly available and secure infrastructure systems that support critical business and customer-facing services. This individual will partner closely with networking, security, cloud, and operations teams to develop scalable solutions, resolve complex technical issues, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive long-term infrastructure modernization initiatives.

This is a 6 month contract hybrid role in Columbus OH, Denver CO, Panama City FL , Warrenville IL, Columbus GA, Madison Heights MI, or Huntsville AL with a pay range of $63 - $68/HR. If interested please apply!

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- 6+ years of infrastructure engineering experience in enterprise environments

- Strong expertise with Windows Server administration and architecture

- Understanding of Active Directory admin and architecture

- Experience supporting enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or similar)

• Hands on experience with Veeam - Linux Experience

• Experience supporting VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environments

- Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking fundamentals

- Experience with enterprise storage technologies and architectures

• Hands-on datacenter experience with servers, storage, and infrastructure hardware
