Machinist - Backshift

Training for this position will happen during first/daylight shift.CNC machining experience is preferred, and programming is a plus.Must be able to work to close tolerances on large products. Experience machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials required.Experience in the operation of the following machines is a plus:All types of machining equipment including manual and CNC skills.Horizontal boring mills (both CNC and manual).Large vertical boring mills (both CNC and manual).Large turning - vertical or horizontal lathes (both CNC and manual).Multi axis milling and turning equipment.Manual and CNC grinding experience.What you bring:Six years of experience preferred.High school graduate plus completion of a four-year machinist apprenticeship or equivalent.Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.Who we are:Our valuesEnvironmental, social and governanceEMD a business unit of Curtiss-Wright in Cheswick, PA designs, manufactures, tests, and provides after-market support for the most advanced, proven and reliable critical function pumps, motors, generators, seals, control rod drive mechanisms and power conditioning electronics available anywhere in the world today.Curtiss-Wright is an equal opportunity employer.
