Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role requires providing care in a nursing environment focused on cardiac and telemetry patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1. This is not a Stepdown unit and offers the possibility of temp to perm placement.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using the appropriate protocol; monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and/or caregivers.

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact license
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
