Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Neurosurgery

Schedule: 3x12.0 Rotating Shift Schedule - Weekends, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs 36 or 48 hours per week

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 17 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements:

• RN License (New York only)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS Certification (High priority)
• NIHSS Certification required
• Two (2) years of experience in a high acuity stroke and neurosurgery setting
• Stepdown/PCU Experience required
• Telemetry experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological disorders.
• Monitor patient status and implement appropriate interventions based on assessment findings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Manage complex medical devices and treatments specific to neurosurgical patients.
• Educate patients and families on care protocols and health management strategies.
• Conduct regular neuro checks and report critical findings to the healthcare team.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be flexible with scheduling to accommodate rotating shifts.
• Participation in on-call or callback duty may be required.
