Maintenance Technician

About The Position The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general facility and equipment repairs. Functions Perform general facility maintenance to interior and exterior of building, fixtures, appliances, and equipment. Schedule and oversee any third-party contractors visiting facility for repairs or maintenance Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation. Maintain Preventative Maintenance schedule and log for all buildings and equipment Operate battery changing equipment/station for powered industrial equipment Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment. Identify and repair faulty equipment Comply with all safety requirements. Additional duties as assigned by direct Supervisor Qualifications Minimum two years maintenance and repair experience required. Strong mechanical ability required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Basic computer skills Attention to detail Pass Background and Drug Screen Competencies Action Oriented – Taking on new opportunities and touch challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
