RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Both circulating and scrubbing experience required (HARD STOP requirement)
• Work in main OR for general, neuro, spine, ortho, robotics, urology, vascular, and colorectal procedures
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• 16 operating rooms with average daily census of 35
• Required certification: BLS
• Work with Epic and Pyxis systems, plus 2 DaVinci XI robots
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Call requirements: 7-8 calls in 8-week schedule, including 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts
• Call shifts are either 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Take 2-3 weekday night call shifts during 8-week period
• Work 2-3 weekends per 8-week schedule (either in-house or on call)
• Holiday requirements: work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract (must be finalized at time of submission)
• Floating rare but may occur within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance results in 2-week delay
• 72 orientation hours (non-billable, factored into contract)
• Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing

The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment including robotic surgical systems and provides a high-volume surgical environment with modern technology and comprehensive specialty services.
