Head of Operations

In just over a year since launching Resident, we've expanded into Napa Valley, grown our team, and continued investing in the people and infrastructure that will support what's next. We're looking for a Head of Operations to partner closely with our ownership team and senior leadership as we continue to scale. This isn't a role focused on simply keeping the lights on. It's an opportunity to influence how Resident operates for years to come. You'll lead our operations team, strengthen internal systems, drive key initiatives, and create the structure that allows our people to do their best work. What You'll Do As Head of Operations, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of Resident while driving strategic initiatives across the business. Your responsibilities will include: Lead and develop our operations team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Design and improve systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures that support a growing organization. Lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring priorities stay aligned and initiatives move forward. Oversee onboarding and training to create a consistent experience for new team members. Partner with leadership, finance, marketing, technology partners, and vendors to support company objectives. Identify operational challenges and implement thoughtful, practical solutions. Strengthen communication, organization, and collaboration across departments. This role touches nearly every part of the company and will play an important role in our continued success. Who You Are You enjoy bringing clarity to complexity. Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: 5+ years of operations leadership experience in a fast-paced, growing organization. Experience leading and developing high-performing teams. A proven track record of improving systems and operational efficiency. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. The ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and attention to detail. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Real estate experience is not required. This position is based in our Los Angeles office and is primarily in person. We believe the best collaboration happens when we're working closely together, particularly during periods of growth.
