Head of Operations

We’re building something ambitious at American Trading International (ATI)… and as we continue to grow, operational excellence becomes even more important. ATI is a service-oriented export trading company that helps brands expand into more than 80 international markets. We're looking for a Head of Operations to lead our operational execution, align teams across the business, and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service while scaling sustainably. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for bringing together people, processes, and performance across the organization. You'll drive operational strategy, improve cross-functional collaboration, develop future leaders, and ensure our business consistently delivers safe, compliant, cost-effective, and on-time execution. What you'll do Lead Operational Excellence Own the execution of day-to-day operations to ensure safe, compliant, cost-effective, and on-time export performance. Improve coordination across Supply Chain, Sales, Quality Assurance, Finance, Suppliers, and Operations. Anticipate operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions before they become issues. Improve forecasting, capacity planning, and operational readiness to support business growth. Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience. Standardize and strengthen operational processes while ensuring flexibility to support growth. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions that address recurring operational challenges. Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all operational teams. Ensure Compliance & Manage Risk Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the business and our customers. Drive accountability for quality, compliance, and operational consistency across the organization. Lead People & Performance Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and operational team members. Create an environment built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Support succession planning, employee development, and leadership growth across the operations team. Build a high-performing organization capable of supporting ATI's continued expansion. Own Operational Performance Establish, monitor, and report on operational KPIs across the business. Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational performance updates to the leadership team. Use data and analytics to guide decision-making, prioritize initiatives, and improve business outcomes. Ensure teams remain focused on the metrics that matter most to customers and the business. Serve as the Business Integrator Act as the operational connector across departments, ensuring priorities remain aligned and execution stays on track. Translate strategic initiatives into clear operational plans and measurable outcomes. Remove barriers that slow execution and help teams work together effectively. Partner closely with executive leadership to support sustainable growth and organizational effectiveness. What you'll bring Significant leadership experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or a similar operational leadership role. Proven success leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Strong understanding of operational planning, process improvement, quality systems, and performance management. Experience building scalable operating processes and developing high-performing teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions using data—even when information is incomplete. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. You're likely someone who... What to know This is a fully in-office leadership role. Minimal travel is required. This is a high-impact executive leadership position with significant influence over how ATI operates, grows, and delivers for customers around the world. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building the systems, teams, and operational discipline that support ATI's next phase of growth. What you'll be paid Compensation is commensurate with experience in the range of $110K-$170K.
