RN PCU

Shift: 12-hour nights, 1845-0715

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements: Work major holidays

Contract Length: 13 weeks

License: RN

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Experience: 1 year of PCU RN experience

Preferred Skills: High acuity drip experience, arterial line experience, BiPAP/Airvo experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Orientation: Initial two days of facility orientation followed by clinical orientation and completion of computer training.

The facility allows the cancellation of one shift per pay period at no cost to the facility and no pay to the traveler, with a minimum two hours' notice provided.
