Premium Sales Representative - San Diego State University

THE ROLE The Ticket Sales Team’s primary responsibility is selling season, partial, and group ticket packages for Aztec football, men’s & women’s basketball, and premium and priority seating at the new Snapdragon Stadium. The Premium Sales Representative works under the guidance of the Director of Sales and is a self‑motivated, positive professional with confidence to grow B2B and Premium sales initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prospecting, appointment setting, executing sales presentations, and closing sales. Sell a full menu of ticket packages, including premium, full seasons, partial plans, and groups. Set and conduct out‑of‑office sales appointments and in‑person meetings. Work non‑traditional hours, weekends, events, and game days. Meet activity metrics (calls made/appointments set) and sales goals. Maintain an optimistic, team‑first attitude and a competitive desire to be the best. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must have: Team‑oriented work style and ability to influence and communicate with C‑level clients. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong work ethic and desire to build a career in the sports industry. Ability to follow safety policies and complete required training. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Minimum 3-4 years of prior sales experience, with 1-2 years of B2B experience preferred. COMPENSATION Competitive pay ($27.00-$29.00) plus commission opportunities and a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
