We believe in partnering with others who share these values and understand their importance.Job DescriptionThe Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing and auditing payroll through Workday, supporting the full end-to-end payroll cycle for all employees. This role includes reviewing payroll reports, identifying discrepancies, and processing administrative transactions when needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly and biweekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timelinessReview and audit timekeeping data, including hours worked, overtime, and paid time offAnalyze payroll reports to identify discrepancies and make necessary correctionsEnsure compliance with payroll regulations across multiple statesAdvise on company and governing body payroll rules and proceduresPartner with the HR department to resolve onboarding data issues and provide support for missing or inaccurate employee informationRespond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional mannerProcess manual checks as needed in accordance with company proceduresAssist with payroll reconciliations and reporting as requireProvide feedback on current procedures to help guide process improvementQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience (Workday experience preferred).Retail payroll experience is preferredStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organizationAbility to work independently, especially during critical payroll cyclesSolid understanding of multi-location and multi-state payroll requirementsExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailTechnical SkillsStrong independent data validation and reconciliation techniquesTimekeeping expertiseUnderstanding of wage lawsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query)LocationTribeca, NYEstimated Salary: $70k - 80kBase pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at David YurmanAs a company founded by artists, David Yurman champions self-expression in everything we do.
