Position Title: Tables Games Lead Supervisor
Reports To: Casino Shift Manager and Table Games Manager
Supervises: Table Games Floor Supervisor and Craps Supervisor
Summary of Position
Supervises the conduct of gaming activity in all Table Games and Card Games pits during the shift. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of all games. Supervises the operation of the table games pit on an assigned shift, monitoring the performance of team members at all times.
Resolves table games problems that may arise, and approves all reports generated from the operation of table games. In addition, is responsible for providing prompt and courteous customer service to all customers and public within the casino.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for providing and ensuring excellent customer service is provided in the table games area at all times;
- Monitors staff performance and ensures adherence to all casino policies and procedures and the Internal Control Structure (ICS);
- Ensures that table games are properly staffed and ready to open on time;
- Trains and evaluates new table games floor supervisors, table games dealers and craps supervisors. Supervises table games team members to ensure that all table games are being dealt and played fairly and accurately;
- Maintains constant awareness of floor activity, protects the pit bankroll, the playing public, and casino assets;
- Acts as a host, explaining game rules to team members and customers as necessary;
- Maintains and enforces the casino rules of play for table games;
- Authorizes and supervises table games fills/credits;
- Places into and removes from service table games dice and cards;
- Assures proper completion of currency transaction reporting paperwork, as required by federal regulation (Title 31) for the Table Games Department;
- Rates table games customer play;
- Monitors and ensures an adequate bankroll for table games;
- Maintains good working relationships with all supervisors and team members;
- Responsible for proper equipment maintenance and appearance of the table games equipment;
- Reviews table games closing / shift change procedures to ensure accurate and complete documentation;
- Ensures proper procedures are followed when opening and closing games;
- Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the casino ICS;
- Signs out keys upon arrival for shift and signs them back in at end of their respective shift.
- Creates table assignment sheet for their respective shift.
- Maintains daily shift report for each gaming day.
- Responsible for opening the Master games sheet when working the beginning shift of a new gaming day.
- Performs shift change duties at end of gaming shifts.
- Responsible for closing out the Master games sheet when working the ending shift of a gaming day.
- Ensures closing numbers are entered into the Oasis system (rolled over) at the end of a gaming day.
- Uses and enforces progressive discipline policies when necessary.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
- Team member must be aware of and comply with all attendance policies, procedures and work schedules in a cooperative manner.
- Craps experience preferred.
- Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises table games floor supervisors during assigned shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the casino’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing issues and resolving conflicts.
- Education and/or Experience Requirements
Associate Degree (A.A.) from a college, university or technical school and relevant training, or minimum four years experience in similar position with a minimum of two years casino Floor Supervisor experience. Management experience preferred. Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
