Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Behavioral Support Paraprofessional focused on providing one-on-one assistance to two students in 1st and 3rd grade. The position requires strong skills in behavior intervention and the ability to remain active and engaged throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will have prior training or proven experience in behavior support techniques to successfully manage and support these students’ needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Behavior Intervention Training certification or equivalent experience in behavior management
• Ability to remain physically active and engaged to support young students effectively
• Experience working with school-age children, preferably in a paraprofessional role
• Strong communication skills and patience when working with diverse behaviors

Location:

• Fairfax, California

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized behavioral support to two elementary school students (grades 1 and 3)
• Implement behavior intervention strategies under the guidance of classroom teachers and behavior specialists
• Monitor and document student progress and behavioral milestones
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistency in support
• Maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment for the children
