Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Location: Denver, CO Number of Beds: 12 Labor & Delivery, 8 Triage, 11 Antepartum Number of Staff: 72 Patient Ratios: 1:2 Labor & Delivery 1:3-4 Triage 1:4 Antepartum General Information The unit specializes in various procedures including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, dilation and curettage (D&C), hysterectomies, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclage placements, and versions. The nursing staff handles high-risk obstetrics cases and operates using current technology. Qualifications Must have: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification AWHONN or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) training Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital RN experience Preferred: Travel nursing experience Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system Best Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be a team player with a flexible attitude.
