Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with high school students requiring specialized instruction
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, staff, and related service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within the 11-month school calendar
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and abilities
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure integrated service delivery
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions to remain current on best practices
