Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a day shift position. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of medical surgical nursing. Candidates must have experience in patient care management and telemetry. Epic charting system experience is required prior to start. Responsibilities include managing patient care with a focus on telemetry and surgical recovery. Nurses will work with a daily census of 30-40 patients. The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and pharmacy services. Candidates should have skills in managing central lines, IVs, and administering treatments as needed. Must be familiar with isolation precautions and emergency response protocols. The position entails a patient ratio of 5 to 1. Preferred qualifications include experience in trauma and long-term acute care settings. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role. Nurses will participate in ongoing education and compliance measures specific to the unit.
