Account Manager

Responsibilities B&G Equipment and Supply has invested $100 million in fleet for various construction projects. For nearly 30 years, we've offered state-of-the-art technology and top-of-the-line machinery, including John Deere, Caterpillar, Komatsu, JLG, & Skyjack. All of our products are supported by exceptional customer service and a dedication to creating a world-class experience for every customer and partner. The primary function of the Account Manager is to be a single resource provider of rental equipment to Brasfield & Gorrie jobs, subcontractors and outside customers. Additional focus is on the sale of equipment, supplies and services that B&G Equipment and Supply offers.

- Responsible for creating/maintaining positive customer relations
- Responsible for developing key internal relationships across all internal departments and divisions
- Manage and develop assigned territory to maximize sales potential and B&G reputation
- Visit all customers within a five week cycle
- Coordinate and participate in strategic entertainment of customers
- Responsible for collecting payment from customers and maintaining accurate customer records
- Maintain open communications with Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and Rental Coordinator regarding new equipment/supplies, equipment availability, and rental/sales programs
- Responsible for prompt completion of all administrative duties, which include; but are not limited to: Sales Plans, Expense Reports, Sales Reports, and Daily Call Reports
- Actively participate in maintaining a professional appearance and TEAM attitude at the B&G location by walking the yard and showroom/warehouse weekly
- Promotes products and negotiates rental/sales contracts to achieve assigned rental and sales revenue goals
- Enhances customer satisfaction by developing rapport with key decision makers and end users at job sites
- Develops and executes strategies to achieve revenue goals that reflect an understanding of market conditions and trends
- Employs territory analysis and targeted sales and marketing research to identify top prospects
- Addresses customer service issues in the field by managing customer expectations and coordinating with appropriate department within B&G
- Bachelor's degree Business Management or related field coupled with at least 3 years of Sales experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to effectively present information to management
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to successfully engage all levels of customer base
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, or members of the business community
- Required to stay up-to-date on industry equipment changes, through continued education
- Requires a valid driver license and a clean MVR
- Indoor/Outdoor
- Ability to endure extended periods of driving
