AR Specialist

Position OverviewPart of the Brooks Safety Solutions family; Commercial Fire is looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. We are a nationwide provider of fire protection and life safety services, that partners with technicians across the United States to provide our customers with reliable and outstanding customer service.The Accounts Receivable Specialist keeps customer billing accurate and cash coming in on time. You will prepare and submit invoices through the channels each customer requires, post and reconcile payments, and follow up on outstanding balances through collection calls.This role suits someone organized, comfortable on the phone, and steady under deadline pressure. You will work closely with teammates and adapt quickly as customer billing requirements change.Key ResponsibilitiesInvoicingEdit and submit customer invoices for payment through customer and third-party portals, email, or mail, following each customer's specific requirementsPayments and ReconciliationPost customer payments in FileMakerReconcile receipts to ensure accounts are accurate and up to dateCollections and Customer ContactMake collection calls on outstanding and past-due balancesAnswer occasional customer calls regarding invoice questions and payment informationAdditional DutiesSupport special projects as they ariseQualifications> 1 year of experience in accounts receivableProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong overall computer skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized, with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and changing customer demandsWorks well with others in a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Brooks Equipment Company
