Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionJob Description:-At least 9+ years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and tools - MUSTAt least 6+ years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.Hands On experience in Design and development of Data visualization solutions using Qlikview tool Around 5+ years of experience in Hands-on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in QlikView including performance tuning, deployment and support of Qlikview developed applications. At least 5 years of experience in the use of the QlikView version 10 or higher (Version 11 preferable) with proven experience in the following areas: Experience in developing, design / architecting BI SolutionsExperience in sourcing data from disparate systems with a good understanding of Data Models and ETL procedures.Strong knowledge on QlikView server architecture and building qvd's and qvw's applying business rules and data validations.Experience in end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboardsAdvanced scripting and ETL, data modeling (star schema); Working with large data sets; Integrating data from multiple data sources into a QlikView Data Model; Use of complex QlikView functions and developing most optimal scripts for a given solution.Good knowledge of SQL, relational databases and Dimensional Modeling - star schemasOptimization of data model for performanceHas strong opinions about technical approaches, design, solutions and is able to defend them in a collaborativeMust have developed enterprise applications for use in production environmentsExperience with complex data models Front-end design and Visualization best practicesIntimate familiarity Set Analysis & all charts and graphs to determine best one to use for a given business situationActions and triggers, Document Chaining & linking experiencePublisher and Server knowledge preferred Demonstrates strong technical skills required for the role, able to architect, design, pays attention to detail, takes initiative to broaden his/her knowledge and demonstrates appropriate financial/analytical skillsAbility to lead larger team in managing, estimate, plan and track projects for Qlikview solutions and mentor/guide team on technical areas pertaining to Qlikview.Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environmentSoft Skills: Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitudeExperience in providing advanced technology advisory services.Understanding of market and technology trends.Analytical skills Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.Exposure to other data visualization tools is a plus.Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.Experience with data model concepts - star schema dimensional modeling Relational design (ER) a plus. Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/martsExperience to Financial domain.Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.QualificationsBasic Qualifications :-Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
