Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed behavioral health psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and situations.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions that empower clients to navigate life changes such as illness, divorce, or unemployment.

• Work closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Offer crisis intervention support, particularly for situations involving child abuse or mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses.

• Research, refer, and advocate for community resources that enhance patients' quality of life, such as food assistance, housing support, and healthcare services.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continual improvement and effective outcomes.

The successful candidate will work primarily with a diverse population that includes individuals facing mental health disorders, addiction issues, and significant life transitions. Notably, experience with Veterans is critical, as our clinic serves a unique demographic with specific needs. Understanding the complexities of military life and its aftermath is essential for effective care delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, ideally with direct clinical exposure.

• Proficient experience in gathering psychosocial histories, conducting case management evaluations, and performing comprehensive suicide assessments.

• Demonstrated expertise in individual and group therapy modalities, coupled with a solid understanding of family therapy principles.

• Ability to navigate community resources and support systems to aid clients effectively.
