Accounting Assistant

The HT Group has a financial services client in Austin, TX looking for a Part-Time Accounting Assistant who is detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven to support daily treasury operations, cash reporting, lender reporting, and financial reconciliations in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Contract-to-hire $26-$28/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday 8/8:30 AM - 12/12:30 PM or 1/1:30 PM Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute daily cash reports, including cash balances, inflows, outflows, and liquidity updates. Compile and submit daily borrowing base calculations by following established procedures and documentation. Prepare and transmit daily verification files to lending partners accurately and on time. Assist with monthly debt facility reporting and lender compliance documentation. Reconcile and maintain reserve accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed. Support recurring treasury and accounting processes while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, banking, finance, or related administrative experience preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data validation. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet recurring deadlines. Comfortable working with financial systems, online banking platforms, and accounting software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, treasury operations, cash management, reconciliations, or lender reporting is a plus.
