Senior Product Engineer

Timpte is growing and looking for 2 Senior Product Engineers to join our Lincoln location. Our Brand New Lincoln Manufacturing Center location is growing rapidly and we're looking for two experienced engineers to join our team. The Senior Product Engineer is responsible for developing innovative new products and leading them from initial concept through validation, production launch, and early production support.

Pay for this position is $100-125k/year (depending on experience) + Monthly Bonus (up to $5,000 per year)!

What You'll Be Doing:
• Develop innovative new product concepts and lead those concepts from initial idea through detailed design, validation, production launch, and early production support.
• Challenge existing products and established manufacturing approaches to identify opportunities for significant product advancement.
• Take ownership of detailed 3D CAD product design while working with designers and other team members to complete production drawings and release documentation.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.

What We're Looking For:
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in a product design role or closely related field.
• College level education in Engineering or closely related technical field required.
• Proven ability to develop original solutions, challenge conventional design approaches, and rethink products or systems that have remained largely unchanged for extended periods of time.
• Strong experience designing products that operate under real world structural loads, vibration, fatigue, repeated use, environmental exposure, and demanding operating conditions.
• Strong mechanical design background with experience in structural assemblies, mechanical systems, joins, fastening methods, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to design products for manufacturability and work effectively with production teams during prototype, pilot, launch, and early production activities.
• Advanced 3D CAD experience required. SolidWorks experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with FEA, structural simulation, or similar engineering analysis methods is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, etc.
