Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Night Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on IV preparation and medication distribution. This role offers a 5-on, 5-off schedule with 10-hour shifts, providing a consistent night shift work pattern ideal for those seeking predictable hours.

Location:

• Gardena, CA (travel position with potential for relocation flexibility)

Schedule:

• Night shift, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 5 consecutive days on, 5 consecutive days off

Responsibilities:

• Prepare intravenous solutions including IVPBs and TPNs
• Accurately fill Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
• Assist with order entry utilizing Allscripts/Paragon systems
• Deliver medications across nursing units promptly
• Handle pharmacy phone communications and support staff inquiries
• Maintain inpatient pharmacy area with compliance to safety protocols

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician licensure required
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings essential
• Proficient in compounding IV medications and managing automated dispensing systems such as Pyxis
• Familiarity with Allscripts/Paragon order entry platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
