Contract Specialist Provider Contract SpecialistLocation: Philadelphia PA 19113 Rate: DOE Contract role 3 months with possibility of extensionThe Provider Contract Specialist is responsible for contract upload and provider data alignment functions for the Plan. The Provider Contract Specialist will operate effectively and efficiently in tracking, reconciling and developing contract records in the contracting system. The Provider Contract Specialist will have experience mapping and correlating different provider types to contracts and supporting documentation.Skills:Minimum 4 years' experience in Managed Care or Healthcare environmentKnowledge of contract development, application, and provider data set up.Minimum of 2-3 years' data entry experience.Experience with data analytics and problem-solving.Responsibilities:Confirms provider record in provider contracting system correctly aligns to contract and application documentation.Uploads contract documentation to the contract management system.Tracks and communicates any provider data that cannot be aligned to contract documentation on a daily basis to management.Immediately and openly communicate with management about any questions or concerns.Meets production and quality standards.Maintains strict confidentiality.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.Adheres to AmeriHealth Caritas policies and procedures.Attends training as required.Groups provide specialties and types.Develops contract records during the upload process.• Excellent interpersonal skills.• Superior communication skills.• Attention to detail and confidentiality.• Excellent organizational skills.• Proficient with office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite of products).• Superior research and analytical skills.• Keen understanding of provider contracts and provider data alignment.• Ability to learn quickly and operate autonomously.• Team player.
