Position Summary The electrical journeyperson is expected to perform a variety of dutiesincluding completing all assigned work orders in a timely manner. Reporting labor, cost and anypertinent notes/information regarding all assigned work orders and return to foreperson daily.Must be conscientious, have experience in all areas of job responsibilities and exhibit goodworkmanship. Minimum Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience One (1) year of experience or general knowledge of the electric trade or willingness tolearn Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc. Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current and valid Oklahoma driver’s licensewith no restrictions that would preclude driving on the job Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current and valid State ElectricianCraftsperson card Ability to learn or perform routine preventative maintenance on all electric equipment is aplus Knowledgeable of current city codes is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Office Suite or willing to learn Bilingual in Spanish preferred Physical Requirements Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. assisted Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds About Our District At Tulsa Public Schools, our mission is to inspire and prepare every student to love learning, achieve ambitious goals, and make positive contributions to our world.
