Service Advisor

Here we grow again. Max Motors Dealerships is looking for a professional Service Advisor with a minimum of 1 year experience in the automotive service field to join our team. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric mentality, and broad knowledge of automotive systems and repairs. Responsibilities Welcoming customers to the dealership and engaging with them to understand their vehicle concerns. Ascertaining automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, conducting inspections, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules. Developing estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, and calculating customer's payment, including deductibles. Maintaining customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle, obtaining customer's approval of estimates, obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers, and answering questions and concerns. Handling administrative duties such as processing invoices and maintaining customer records. Maintaining automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned. Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading manufacturers' publications, etc. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive setting. Broad knowledge of automotive systems and ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical individuals. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships. Strong verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor. Ability to work in a team environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem solving and organizational skills. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
