Registered Nurse - Acute Care Ortho Surgical - Full-Time Night Shift

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Ortho Surgical provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, ensuring individualized care that respects cultural diversity and patient preferences. Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using critical thinking and evidence-based practices; coordinate care through effective partnerships; partner with patients and families; promote safety and quality outcomes; support performance improvement initiatives; serve as a preceptor or mentor; participate in research and performance improvement activities; develop protocols; and ensure compliance with policies and standards. Qualifications & Skills: Must have an associate's or diploma in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), valid RN license (single-state or multi-state), BLS certification, and at least 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, teamwork, time management, critical thinking, and technology skills are essential. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies is required.
