Director, Cyber Defense Architect

Salary: $169,005 - 370,530 per year Requirements:

• We seek at least eight years of recent experience in cybersecurity architecture, security operations, threat detection and response, cyber defense, or a related security field, with consulting experience preferred.
• We prefer a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; however, a high school diploma or GED is required, along with 10 years of equivalent professional experience.
• We prefer industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, or cloud security credentials.
• We need deep expertise in cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and cloud security, with hands-on experience building enterprise cyber defense architectures and security automation programs.
• We expect a strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and agentic security concepts, including autonomous agents and generative AI in cybersecurity environments.
• We look for proven ability to lead executive-level discussions, translate complex technical ideas into business value, and work across functions to deliver innovative security solutions.
• Travel up to 50% is required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

• We partner with consulting teams, alliance partners, and clients to create innovative, reusable, and scalable agentic AI-enabled cyber defense solutions and reference architectures.
• We lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale agentic AI solutions across the cyber defense lifecycle, from threat detection and response through continuous exposure management.
• We architect and integrate cyber defense technologies such as SIEM, XDR/EDR, and SOAR with frontier AI models and multi-agent frameworks to modernize cyber threat management capabilities.
• We design and enhance security telemetry and data architectures, including log collection, normalization, and storage strategies, to support AI-driven solutions across SIEMs, data lakes, and enterprise data platforms.
• We build secure and governed agentic AI solutions by incorporating human oversight, AI governance, model lifecycle management, and operational guardrails for safe autonomous decision-making.
• We lead technical engagements with client security architects, engineering teams, and operations leaders, and communicate architecture, implementation, and business value to executive stakeholders.
