About the Role We're hiring an Inside Sales Associate to support customers by providing product solutions, processing orders, and delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process. This role works closely with customers, outside sales representatives, and yard operations to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience. This position offers a blend of customer service, sales support, inventory coordination, and problem-solving, making it an excellent fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build a long-term career in the building materials industry. This is a full-time, year-round position based in Toledo, Ohio . What You'll Do Manage inbound customer inquiries and ensure timely follow-up Support the outside sales team with quotes, orders, and product information Prepare and package customer orders for pickup or delivery Assist customers with product selection and recommendations Review project information and prepare accurate material quotes Maintain product displays and assist with inventory management Resolve shipping issues and customer concerns Process orders and support fulfillment to ensure inventory accuracy Build and maintain strong customer relationships Provide backup support for counter sales when needed Support overall sales and customer service efforts What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Two or more years of inside sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred Building materials or construction-related experience is a plus Strong communication and relationship-building skills Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to help customers succeed Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn What We Offer Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO), holidays, and additional leave options Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage Employee Assistance Program and other wellness benefits YMCA membership at no cost for employees Kuhlman Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
