Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, adhering to infection control guidelines and protocols

• Restock linens, towels, and supplies as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and storeroom

• Respond to special requests and needs from patients, residents, and staff

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of care

• Perform daily tasks such as emptying trash, washing linens, and restocking supplies

• Participate in environmental services department meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects and stand for long periods

• Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
