Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at New Cross Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting intake assessments to gather relevant client history, establish treatment goals, and create tailored therapeutic plans.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions with couples and families, as well as individual sessions to address specific issues such as communication difficulties, conflicts among family members, and recovery from grief and loss.

• Addressing a variety of concerns, including but not limited to job stress, medical issues, blended family challenges, and adjustment to separation or divorce.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices while maintaining a client-centered approach in therapy.
\n
• Regularly reviewing case progress and making adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engaging in professional development through training, conferences, and ongoing education to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay current with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client base, including adults, adolescents, and families dealing with significant relational dynamics and mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Current valid Washington State license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
