Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care CenterLake Region Healthcare Corporation - Fergus Falls, MN 56537OverviewSalary Range $31.72 - $46.43 Hourly Position Type 64 Hours Biweekly Category Nursing - ClinicDescriptionThe Registered Nurse - Wound Care Center demonstrates authority, responsibility, and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound and ostomy care. The Wound Care RN acts as a resource consultant, and provides direct patient care and education as it may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for age/condition.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop treatment plan according to current wound care protocols; explain dressing rationale, institute preventive measures and monitor results of care delivered;Advise physicians on status of wound patientsIdentify patients requiring debridement procedures and alert attending physicianIdentify nutritional deficiencies, coordinate with Health Care personnel to solve nutrition problems and report results to respective supervisorsEnsure adequate materials are on hand for every patientAttend wound care education programs designed to enhance the benefits patients can derive from the most recent techniques/procedures availableHours/Shifts 64 hours biweekly, day shiftsCompensation Hourly Wage Range: $31.72 - $46.43. BSN hires add $1/hour.
