Change Management Consultant/Change Manager | FMCG, Consumer Goods, Demand Planning, Trade Promotion Management, Supply Chain Planning, S&OP| Contract/B2B/W2 Role| Boston/Hybrid | Global Consumer Goods Brand We are currently working with a large Consumer Goods brand that is delivering a major planning-software deployment across its commercial planning environment. The programme is focused on AI-based Demand Planning, with expansion into Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and supply planning, and is designed to improve data readiness, harmonise planning processes, and support more consistent decision‑making across the business. As part of this initiative, the organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Change Management Consultant/Change Manager to support the business through a critical phase of discovery, stakeholder engagement, process documentation, and change‑management planning. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across strategic sales, analytics, planning, and the wider business to understand existing ways of working and prepare the organisation for future‑state adoption. Following the discovery phase, the consultant will support the development of the change‑management strategy and communications plan, including how best to socialise the change, approach stakeholder engagement, and prepare users for training and adoption. The Change Management Consultant/Change Manager will have the following experience: Core Experience & Skills Demonstrable track record in Change Management and Business transformation consulting Ability to document business processes clearly, including process mapping Experience building Change Management strategies, communications plans, and Training approaches Strong stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior business users Comfortable working across commercial, sales, analytics, planning, and technology teams Able to translate business complexity into clear, structured documentation and practical change plans Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑moving consulting environment Experience working within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, or similar sectors Exposure to Demand planning, Trade Promotion Management, Supply Planning or S&OP Experience supporting Planning, Forecasting, or Commercial transformation programmes Familiarity with AI planning‑software deployments or enterprise planning platforms would be very beneficial but not a must Experience working in environments involving Snowflake, Oracle or other ERP systems, or broader enterprise systems would be advantageous This role is offering a Contract/Freelance/ B2B engagement, with an initial focus across a 3‑6 month period. The client is based in Boston and has a strong preference for Boston‑based consultants who can provide partial on‑site presence.
