Employment Type: Contract

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, onsite. Typical schedule is 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with some flexibility. Availability between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM ET may be needed to support recruiters across U.S. time zones.

Location: East Aurora, NY

FAA: FAA requirements apply. This role will support FAA-related onboarding requirements, including required training and drug screening.


Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Recruiting Coordinator to work onsite with our client, a leading aerospace company in East Aurora, NY.


As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to provide comprehensive recruiting support for hourly/non-exempt and salaried/exempt positions. You will coordinate interviews across multiple U.S. locations, support candidate travel, and facilitate pre-employment and onboarding activities while helping deliver a positive and organized candidate experience.


Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional first point of contact for prospective candidates.
• Partner with recruiters to review resumes based on job requirements and hiring manager preferences.
• Coordinate and schedule telephone and onsite interviews across multiple U.S. locations.
• Communicate effectively with candidates, interview teams, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure a positive and well-organized candidate experience.
• Coordinate candidate travel arrangements for interviews in East Aurora and other U.S. locations.
• Facilitate onboarding activities, including ensuring required background checks and toxicology testing are completed and documented.
• Learn and comply with FAA requirements and assist candidates with required training and drug-screening processes.
• Manage a high-volume workload while effectively prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing needs.
• Build strong working relationships with hiring managers, recruiters, and other HR team members.
• Work daily within Microsoft Office, Outlook, Workday, and other recruiting and HR platforms.
• Proactively manage scheduling changes and keep recruiting processes moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of related experience; experience coordinating interviews or meetings is preferred.
• Experience using Workday or a similar Applicant Tracking System.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make proactive decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, structured environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to last-minute interview and scheduling changes.

Preferred Skills

• Strong Microsoft Outlook experience, particularly calendar and meeting scheduling.
• Previous recruiting coordination, HR coordination, or Talent Acquisition support experience.
• Experience coordinating complex or multi-person interview schedules.
• Ability to work effectively with recruiters and hiring managers across multiple locations and time zones.
• Availability during the 8:00 AM-5:00 PM ET window as needed.
