Commercial Project Manager

Construction Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from initial budgeting and estimating through final project closeout. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management skills, a solid understanding of MEP systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects while building lasting client relationships.The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions oriented, and comfortable managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project documentation while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesPrepare construction project budgets and estimates using drawings and specificationsManage projects from initial planning through completion and closeoutOversee project budgets, cost controls, schedules, and change order administrationManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and profitabilityCoordinate subcontractors, permitting, bidding, estimating, billing, and project documentationIdentify potential project risks, assess site conditions, and evaluate material and equipment lead timesPrepare and coordinate RFP packages and subcontractor bid requestsMaintain accurate project records, schedules, budgets, and cost reportsBuild and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for new businessCollaborate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project executionParticipate in industry events, trade shows, and professional organizationsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar roleBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be consideredStrong knowledge of construction estimating, bidding, subcontracting, permitting, scheduling, cost management, billing, and project closeoutExperience with MEP systems and coordination across multiple construction tradesFamiliarity with Plan and Specification, MEP Design Build, and Design Build delivery methodsExperience with Procore preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Microsoft ProjectLife sciences or biotech construction experience is a plusLEED accreditation is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independentlyClient focused mindset with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and relationship developmentProactive, solutions oriented approach with strong problem solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a teamCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceCar allowancePerformance based bonus opportunitiesPaid time off, starting at 128 hours annually and increasing with tenure, up to 208 hoursRetirement plan with a 3% Safe Harbor employer contributionWhy Consider This Opportunity?Join a growing commercial construction team where you can take ownership of projects, work directly with clients, and contribute to successful project delivery.
