Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs US Advertising and Promotion - Immunology

Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs overseeing US advertising and promotion strategy for immunology products at AbbVie. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, setting regulatory strategy, managing departmental operations, and ensuring compliance with advertising regulations in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional therapeutic teams and execute multidivisional regulatory initiatives with minimal oversight
- Develop and implement advertising and promotion strategy aligned with regulatory guidance and business objectives
- Manage departmental budget, track productivity metrics, and project operational and financial needs
- Oversee day-to-day departmental operations in absence of Director; mentor and evaluate staff performance
- Identify process improvements and trends affecting business; drive innovation and implement complex strategic projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science discipline (biology, chemistry, pharmacy, immunology, or related field); Master's, PhD, or PharmD preferred
- 8+ years pharmaceutical experience with Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with PharmD
- Direct responsibility and solid understanding of regulatory advertising and promotion compliance
- Experience working in complex matrix organizational environments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Management experience preferred
