About the Role We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Runnemede, NJ. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial results and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and eager to grow into a leadership position. Key Responsibilities Prepare and reconcile all bank accounts, ensuring reconciling items are cleared promptly. Maintain accurate balance sheet account reconciliations each month. Prepare and post journal entries, including write-offs and inventory adjustments. Support inventory control by observing cycle counts and assisting in physical inventory processes. Maintain utilities allocations between business units. Assist Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams as needed. Prepare and file sales tax returns and year-end 1099s. Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Accounting required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and financial statements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP systems required; Sage 100 experience preferred. Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
