• Shift: 10-hour Days (0630-1500 or 1045-1915; schedule confirmed with agency)
• Hours/week: 40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract / Per Diem
• Licensure/Certs: Valid RN license in Louisiana; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CSFA or CSA certification as required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years OR or acute care experience; OR robotic, neuro-spine, or transplant experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical suite
• Circulate and scrub on complex cases, including robotic, neuro-spine, bariatric, transplant, and general surgeries
• Assist with case setup, sterile technique, and instrument management
• Support anesthesia and surgical teams during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgeries
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR
• Comply with all safety and hospital protocols, including passing required competency exams
• Participate in holiday rotations, weekend coverage, and on-call shifts as scheduled

What You Need:

• Required:
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • 2+ years of OR or acute care nursing experience
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
  • Experience with robotic (Da Vinci) procedures and neuro-spine/neuro-vascular surgeries
  • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Preferred:
  • Transplant experience (kidney, liver, pancreas)
  • Experience with complex surgical cases and supportive tech roles
  • Flexibility with schedule and call shifts
