About Our Agency: I opened my agency in 2013 after beginning my professional career as an attorney. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia and later attended the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. I've been a member of the Missouri Bar since 2004, and my legal background has given me a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and helping people navigate important decisions. Outside of work, I'm married with two amazing daughters, and you can often find our family supporting them at their volleyball activities. Staying connected to our community is important to us. Our agency participates in local Chamber events, BBQ competitions, and State Farm-sponsored events throughout the year. Role Description

Bret Farrar - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
