Accounts Payable Clerk
Our client, a leading organization in the foodservice and distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be an essential part of the finance department supporting invoice processing and vendor relations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Woodridge, IL
Pay Rate: $18.26
Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Oversee the timely processing of vendor invoices for factory-direct orders.
- Audit factory direct invoices to ensure correct costs and freight calculations.
- Research inquiries from the Sales Department regarding FD invoices and freight rates.
- Process invoices into the Accounts Payable system accurately and efficiently.
- Escalate issues beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties and perform other related duties as assigned.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
- Computer literate with experience in writing business correspondence.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
