A Registered Respiratory Therapist role is available for a contract position in Arlington Heights, IL. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling without block schedules, specifically for night shifts. Work every other weekend and every other holiday, providing you with a balanced work-life rhythm.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Proven ability to adapt to flexible scheduling demands
- Experience in providing respiratory care in clinical settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform respiratory care procedures based on physician orders and patient needs
- Monitor and evaluate patients' respiratory status and respond appropriately
- Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
