Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite position will have you working closely with school-aged children in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. With assignments and caseloads yet to be determined, you'll experience variety and the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple campuses.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification
• Valid Colorado Occupational Therapist license
• Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to new settings and build rapport with students and staff
• Commitment to fostering student growth and development

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized OT interventions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student access to the general education curriculum
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic activities to improve students’ motor, sensory, and self-care skills
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Manage a diverse caseload with professionalism and flexibility, adjusting to assignments as determined by the district
• Provide consultation and training to staff on strategies and equipment to enhance student participation
