Accounting Manager | Series B AI-Native SaaS

$150,000 - $180,000 + Equity | NYC - Hybrid/Remote One of NYC's fastest-growing AI-native PropTech firms, having recently closed its Series B funding round, is searching for an Accounting Manager to partner closely with and report directly to the VP of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting leader looking to make a significant impact in a high-growth business. You'll take ownership of the accounting function, strengthen existing processes and controls, and help build the finance infrastructure needed to support the company's next phase of scale. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the month‑end and year‑end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Oversee all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, payroll and general ledger activities Prepare and review monthly financial statements, reconciliations and supporting schedules Develop, implement and enhance accounting policies, internal controls and scalable financial processes Partner with the VP of Finance on budgeting, cash flow reporting and financial planning initiatives Manage external auditors, tax advisors and other finance service providers Ensure compliance with US GAAP and support technical accounting matters as the business continues to grow Drive finance systems enhancements and automation projects to improve efficiency and reporting Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Sales and Customer Success to improve financial visibility across the business Help develop the accounting function by establishing best practices and supporting future team growth Profile CPA qualification strongly preferred 5+ years of accounting experience, including experience within a high‑growth, VC‑backed SaaS or software business Previous experience as an Accounting Manager or a Senior Accountant ready to step into a management role Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands‑on ownership of the month‑end close process Experience building and improving accounting processes within a fast‑paced, scaling business Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is highly desirable Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with the ability to partner effectively across multiple business functions Proactive, hands‑on and comfortable operating in a high‑growth environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Talentedge
