We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Design Intern (PartTime) to join our team and work on impactful, hands-on projects that strengthen national security.What You’ll Do:* Support design and testing of automotive structures and components.* Develop CAD models, drawings, and design documentation.* Assist with shop activities, prototype builds, and PLM data entry.* Help investigate system issues and recommend improvements.* Collaborate with engineers to evaluate designs for performance, cost, and feasibility.What We’re Looking For:* Current full-time student pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).* Sophomore or junior standing preferred.* Must be a U.S. citizen.* Available to work 15+ hours per week during the semester.* Strong interest in automotive systems and hands-on engineering.Position available now – we are looking to fill this role as soon as possible.This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment that combines innovation with the resources and culture of Hendrick MotorsportsTechnical Solutions.Hendrick is an Equal Opportunity employer.
