Cafe/lounge General Manager

Job Description

The Cafe/lounge General Manager will oversee daily operations of a specialty coffee/lunch shop, managing a team of 16-30 employees to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role involves leading marketing efforts, managing vendor relationships, ensuring quality and safety standards, and optimizing financial performance using advanced POS and scheduling tools. The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality leader passionate about coffee culture and committed to developing a motivated, skilled team without travel commitments.

Responsibilities

Manage daily cafe/lounge operations to ensure efficiency and quality
Supervise and support a team of 16-30 employees
Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues
Control inventory and coordinate with vendors
Oversee financial performance and budget adherence
Lead marketing and promotional initiatives
Maintain quality assurance and health and safety compliance
Plan and coordinate events to enhance customer engagement
Conduct staff training and development programs

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in hospitality management
Strong team leadership and staff training skills
Proficiency in customer relations
